Chirashi Sushi is one of the easiest ways to make delicious and healthy sushi without the fuss. Using sushi rice with a variety of tasty toppings such as prawn and vegetables, this recipe is great for a party, or even as something a little bit different to take for lunch. Season with simple salt and pepper and garlic, the prawn is easy dish to add into Bento Lunch Box.
Ingredients
1 pack Chirashi Sushi Kit (you can get it at japanese supermarket)
2 cups Japanese Rice
Direction
1. Cook 2 cups of rice.
2. Place warm cooked rice in a large bowl, and add 1 Seasoning packet. Mix quickly and let it cool.
3. Garnish with shredded omelette.sliced cucumber, salmon roe, assorted sashimi or any other
suitable sushi ingredients to give it more colour and flavour.
In my case, I like to eat it with air fried/grilled prawn.
Clean the prawn but keep the head and shell, pat dry and season with minced garlic (or garlic powder),
salt and pepper. Drizlle with olive oil and air fried for 8-10 min @180C. You can also grill in oven
(grill mode) for 8-10min until they turn pink and red, just remember to turn the prawn half way during
the grilling process.
